STAX Burgers

Very nice burgers! Food arrived quickly and came presented nicely. Service was exceptional, makes a nice change for somebody to go above and beyond in the service industry. 1 small mistake with our order, but that was soon rectified. Nice background music, not overbearing. Would definitely recommend

The burger meat was quite good and seasoned well. The fried chicken bites were dry and didn’t have much taste. Fries were too salty but fried well. Also ordered a hot chocolate, granted not an everyday thing you order from a burger joint, but it tasted like water and nothing else. Overall nothing really special that stands out, if anything it's quite bare bones. The problem is the price for the portion and overall what you get is not worth it, I could basically go many other places for better and more interesting food for the same price. Service was fine and the place itself was decent. The upstairs area was shut even though the sign outside said it was open so not sure why advertise it as having more seating upstairs when it's not open. 2 stars because at the end of the day I would not come back or recommend to others. Not sure why people give 4+ stars for mediocre places.

I never usually leave reviews but I felt I had to after my experience here. We had not booked anywhere to eat and fancied a burger. Stax did have space for 2 people. Firstly, the staff were really accommodating and friendly. The sole issue here was the food and the cleanliness. Firstly, the burger tasted pretty bland, but the fries were honestly inedible, absolutely excessively doused in salt- to the point where I was only able to eat one. Cleanliness was also a major issue. We were sat upstairs and the windowsills were covered in dusts, and the toilets were really dirty.

Had a good experience overall at Stax Burgers. The food was fresh, the portions were solid, and the service was quick. The place was clean and the staff were polite. Worth a visit if you’re craving a decent burger.

Wasn’t a great experience. Food was very average for the price. Sauces were just in packets. There was no music playing which created a bit of a stilted atmosphere. The staff were friendly but didn’t really seem to know what they were doing. They asked if I wanted the bill while I was visibly still eating like they were trying to rush me out. They were also whispering next to us the whole time which just didn’t feel great to me. Wouldn’t recommend or go again to be honest.
