We popped in for a takeaway last weekend after moving in around the corner, and we were so impressed! The burgers and chips were fantastic, and the drinks were just as good, great wine and a brilliant IPA on tap. While we waited for our food, we enjoyed a drink and were served by a lovely guy who was doing it all - cooking, serving and running the place single-handedly while others were off sick. He was absolutely brilliant and the food was delicious. We can’t wait to come back and keep supporting such a lovely local spot!
What a burger. The Big Track. Triple patty epicness. Me and the young un made a pit-stop here on our travels from Durham to How Stean Gorge. We booked a table, smart move, there’s only about 5 or 6 available. We parked just over the road/round the corner in the pay&display. Off The Rails is a canny little place, good vibes, tunes and decor, lovely people there. We even had a game of Scrabble too (I let him win with his pure nonsense words, that’s what Dads do isn’t it) Little lad had a plain burger and said it was good. The star of the show was my triple patty bacon cheese and all the trimmings banger of a burger. It was all over my beard, dripping down my hands and it was a taste sensation. We shall return. Bravo. Lovely place.
Off The Rails might be small, but it’s full of character! Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and honestly some of the best smash burgers around. Great spot to chill with a drink and enjoy good vibes. 🍔🍻
Lovely little burger restaurant, excellent burgers, try the Dutch style fries, sprinkled with Edam cheese and a dip. Delicious! Great range of craft beers on tap, IPA’s and wine. Non-alcoholic options delicious too! Friendly and attentive owners and lovely, relaxing atmosphere 😊
A new burger joint in town and it does not disappoint. I ordered on line via the website, quick & simple. Drove to collect, really nice food and just what I needed! Highly recommended and great to support local businesses.
