Walked into Meat Up on Monday as walk-ins on a busy evening and the place was packed, but the first waiter reassured us they’d find space, so we happily waited outside. Shortly after, Shah (the owner probably?) came out, told us it would be about five minutes, and from that moment he genuinely made the night feel special. We were seated in a cosy, tight room — but honestly that just added to the charm because the food and service were exceptional. The atmosphere was buzzing without being overwhelming, and you could tell everyone was having a great time. Shah took our order and was fantastic — patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly welcoming. We tried the steak burger (chunks of rib-eye with cheese), the PB & J burger (peanut butter and chilli jam), and a fully loaded hot dog. Every single item was spot on: the steak perfectly cooked, the PB & J surprisingly amazing, and the hot dog packed with flavour. The fries were seasoned and cooked perfectly too. You can tell this place is run with real care — Shah was engaging with every table and the whole team reflected that energy. We finished with an Oreo milkshake which was blended perfectly. Tipping isn’t always expected in the UK, but the service here made it feel like the obvious choice. Top-notch food, top-notch service — we’ll definitely be back.

What a place! Such impressably incredible food! I usually eat ribeye, A1, A5, dry aged Angus the lot. I had a sirloin here and let me tell you. It was in fact cooked so well, and the cut was such good quality, that it rivals most of the best ribeyes I've had. I also had the ribeye here and that was mindblowingly good. I just wanted to emphasise that the sirloin, a lower cut of meat, still rivalled some of the best ribeyes I've ever eaten. The burgers are outstanding. The staff are absolutely brilliant - shoutout to Abid. Chefs are literally cooking up some magic in this kitchen. We've been twice in one week with the team whilst on a project here in London because we all loved it so much. Great food, lovely little place.. highly recommend.

Went to MeatUp with my friends and honestly it was AMAZING. We ordered burgers, chips, steak, and BBQ wings and everything was absolutely delicious. The burgers were juicy and full of flavour, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the BBQ wings were next level. The cajun chips were fresh and crispy. But what really made the experience stand out was the service. The food was served quickly and everything came hot and fresh. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. We also had a great interaction with the manager who was professional, approachable, and made sure we were happy with everything. It’s rare to see that level of care and hospitality. The atmosphere was great and it’s such a nice spot to chill with friends and enjoy proper good food. You can really taste the quality. Definitely the best meals I’ve had recently. 100% recommend and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Straight up the best burger I’ve had. Previously the award went to Sahara Grill. But Meat Up smashed it out the park. It was so good. Fries were not refried which is a big big plus. The burger was perfect, it wasn’t dry, it wasn’t over salty. The milkshake was very very tasty and nice, not too milky and not an ice block. Hopefully they open East Side one day so I don’t have to travel so far. Deffo worth a visit.

We visited meat up on a Tuesday afternoon, after having sampled the takeaway delight of their sister restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant, friends wanting to catch up over a quick bite to eat, tired folk alone needing good food after a long day of work, and couples on a casual date. The restaurant itself is not big so would not recommend for large groups, but there is additional space to eat outside, weather permitting! We shared a beef burger and chicken burger between us, woth a side of fries, peanut butter milkshake and strawberry daquiri to quench the meal. All of our food was served in good time, hot and freshly made to order. The food and drinks were all spot on, great quality of ingredients and well balanced flavour profiles. Chips are often an afterthought at restaurants but even these were great! The team were careful and attentive, and checked in on us diners, graciously attending to our humble requests. Shah and his fabulous team should be commended for their hard work. Will happily go back if I am in the area again.
